Dr. Peter Griffith

Dr. Peter Griffith

Dr. Peter Griffith is a native of the area. He attended Saratoga High school, UCSB, and graduated from The University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1972.

Dr. Peter and Jane have been married 35 years and they have two adult daughters. When he is not at the office, he enjoys snow skiing, hiking, kayaking, swimming, playing on the computer and amateur (ham) radio. His call sign is WA6VAQ and he is an active member of the Southern Peninsula Emergency Communications System, a group that helps the police, fire, Red Cross and others during times of emergency.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and is currently on the board of directors of the Santa Clara County Dental Society and has been active on many committees. Committed to continuing education, he attends many programs and seminars each year. He has been a mentor to other young dentists in the area.

Dr. Paul Griffith

Dr. Paul Griffith

Dr. Paul Griffith graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1982. He then taught as a clinical instructor at the University before accepting a position at the Policlinique Dentaire at the Medical School in Lausanne Switzerland. He then returned to practice here in Sunnyvale with his father and brother, where he has practiced since 1982. “Dr. Paul,” as he is affectionately called, is married and has four children. He is active with the Boy Scouts, managed numerous Little League teams and was a tribal chief for the YMCA Indian Princesses. He enjoys taking his family snow skiing, scuba diving, camping and going to the beach. He is a member of the Santa Clara County Dental Association, California Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He is also a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, where he is a member of the College of Conscious Sedation. He has twice been the Chief of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at El Camino Hospital, where he treats patients who need deeper sedation for their dental care. He has now opened a special dental surgery center to treat and sedate patients that require extensive care.
